University guidelines on plagiarism
Truthfulness and integrity form the central foundations of scientific activity. These principles will be violated if, in the case of written works or documents for presentation, the copyrighted works or parts of works (in particular texts, tables, drawings) are used without the citation of a source. In serious cases, a plagiariser can be excluded from studying at the University of Bern.
